Forest of Soul Slave is a visual novel game with graphic violence and gore, aimed for the dark content lovers in the game, the protagonist dies constantly, in wildly bloody and violent ways. The plot is about Colt, an elf girl with hazards, who goes on a perilous mission to look for treatment for her seriously ill sister, Philum. Lining her way are all sorts of lethal monsters in a dark, merciless forest. The adventure is perilous, and different choices made by Colt will see her survive or suffer the many horrors waiting for her in the forest. Will she make it out alive or will she be swallowed whole by the forest’s terrors?
The game welcomes a meaty plot of over 50,000 words, while the character of Colt is fully voiced in Japanese. Eight detailed event CGs and seven memory events reveal Colt’s tragic fate, in varying forms. It caters to hardcore and grotesque content, mainly surrounding horrific and extreme death situations.
Colt is a cheerful and skilled elf girl with excellent archery abilities, but her journey is not easy. Her sister Philum, who is frail and ill, is the reason Colt sets out on this dangerous adventure. You will find the game dark, intense, and not for the faint of heart which offers a unique experience for those who enjoy the genre.
