Granny: Escape Together is a co-op horror game for 1 – 3 players. It starts with a dastardly premise: You have been trapped in a mysterious grandma’s evil house. Now the task is both mundane and terrifying: Get out in five days or else.
Gamers have to traverse the eerie corridors of the house, look for tools and solve puzzles to open the way toward freedom. Some of the main tasks include finding hidden keys cracking codes and stitching together details about the houses sordid past. Every step of the way, you’ll be on edge, with the ghostly granny patrolling the hallways reacting to the slightest noises. The must-see was Movement, where every move has to be a calculated one, players crouched under beds, orphaned in closets or melted into shadows.
The adventure has three escape plot options: you can repair the vehicle in the garage, unlock the front door, or locate a hidden passage in the basement. If you chain up a number of players together in co-op mode you can all work together to flesh out a strategy shared between players while working together to increase your likelihood of survival. One player can also play as Granny herself, laying traps and hunting the escaped players. And Granny: Escape Together has a training mode designed so newcomers can get used to the layout and mechanics of the game and practice without the stakes.
